Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · effective since October 2026
These Terms cover the commercial side of Play+: trial, payment, refunds, support and cancellation. They supplement the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
1. What is included
- use of the Play+ app on the activated device, for the contracted term;
- a page to manage the device's license and playlists;
- app updates while the license is valid;
- technical support on how the app works.
The service does not include audiovisual content, channels or playlists of any kind. Problems with the user's playlist (server down, expired username, channel freezing) must be taken up with whoever provides the playlist.
2. Free trial
Every new device gets a 7-day trial, with no sign-up and no charge. At the end of the trial, the app shows the activation screen and the user decides whether to purchase the license.
3. License and term
The license is valid for one device, identified by the code shown in the app, for the period stated at purchase (usually 1 year). Reinstalling the app on the same device keeps the code. Switching to another device requires a new activation. Renewing before expiry adds the new period to the time remaining.
4. Activation methods
- Direct purchase, on the /en/ativar page, with Pix processed by Mercado Pago. Activation is released automatically once the payment is confirmed.
- Through an authorized partner, who activates the device via the reseller panel. In this case, price, payment and support are arranged directly with the partner.
5. Payment
- the price and term are shown before the Pix code is generated;
- the generated Pix code is valid for 30 minutes; after that, a new one must be generated;
- there is no automatic billing or automatic renewal;
- Play+ does not receive or store the user's bank details: payment is processed by Mercado Pago.
6. Refunds
The user may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase (right of withdrawal, Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code), and also at any time in the event of a duplicate charge or an app failure that prevents use and is not resolved by support. When a refund is issued, the device's license is canceled.
There is no refund when:
- the problem lies with a third-party playlist or server, not with the app;
- the license was suspended for violating the Terms of Use;
- the request is made after the legal deadline with no failure attributable to Play+.
7. Cancellation and data deletion
There is no minimum term or penalty: simply do not renew. Playlists can be deleted at any time on the /en/ativar page. To delete all of the device's data, request it through the contact channels; data that the law requires us to keep (such as payment records) is retained for the legal period.
8. Support
Support covers installation, activation, payment and operation of the app, through the channels below, during business hours. We do not provide support for the content of third-party playlists, nor do we recommend providers.
9. Updates and compatible devices
The app receives updates for fixes and improvements. Very old devices may stop being compatible with new versions; in that case, the user will be notified in advance whenever possible.
10. Cooperation with authorities
Play+ complies with court orders and legal requests from authorities and rights holders, under Brazilian law.
11. Limit of commercial liability
Any liability of Play+ related to the license is limited to the amount paid for it in the last 12 months, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes
Prices, terms and these Terms may change. Changes do not affect licenses already paid for until the end of the contracted period.
