Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · effective since October 2026
These Terms govern the use of Play+ — the app, the per-device license system and the web pages for activation and management — offered by Play+. Installing, opening or using Play+ means accepting these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Play+ is
Play+ is a media player: software that opens and plays playlists and servers provided by the user, in the open formats used in the market (Xtream Codes, M3U/M3U8 and similar). The service consists of:
- the player app for Android, TV Box, Fire TV and compatible TVs;
- the app license, tied to each device;
- the activation page, where the user pays for the license and adds their own playlists;
- the panel used by authorized partners to activate their customers' devices.
2. What Play+ does not do
By product design, Play+ is not a content provider. It:
- does not sell, provide, host or broadcast channels, movies, series, sports events or playlists;
- does not point to, recommend or promote content sources;
- does not keep its own catalog, library or schedule — everything shown on screen comes from the playlist added by the user;
- has no business relationship with those who provide the playlists used by users;
- exercises no editorial control over what is played.
The app does not come with any ready-made playlist. Without a playlist provided by the user, it shows no content.
3. User responsibility for content
Every source played in Play+ is added by the user — either in the app or on the activation page. The app only runs the address provided, without analyzing, filtering or monitoring what it contains, and it has no means of doing so.
By adding a playlist, the user declares, under their sole responsibility, that they:
- are authorized to access and play all the content from that source;
- are solely responsible for the origin and legality of the source and for any damage caused to third parties;
- release Play+ from any civil, criminal or administrative liability arising from the content added.
Warning: playing or distributing protected works without the rights holder's authorization is a crime in Brazil (Article 184 of the Brazilian Penal Code) and gives rise to civil liability (Law No. 9,610/1998).
4. Copyright
Play+ respects copyright and related rights and does not, in any way, encourage unauthorized access to protected content. Using Play+ for that purpose violates these Terms and may lead to suspension of the license, without refund.
5. Permitted use
Play+ may be used to play, for example:
- content legally purchased by the user from the rights holder or an authorized distributor;
- public domain or freely accessible content;
- the user's own content, such as recordings, camera feeds and corporate materials.
6. Prohibited conduct
- adding sources of protected content without the rights holder's authorization;
- reselling, renting or sharing the license with other devices;
- copying, modifying, decompiling or reverse engineering the app, except where permitted by law;
- circumventing the license, the trial period or any security mechanism;
- using bots or automated attacks against the Play+ pages and servers;
- using the service for any unlawful activity.
7. Notice and takedown
Rights holders who believe that a source added by a Play+ user infringes their rights may send a notice through the contact channels below, containing:
- name and contact details of the rights holder or authorized representative;
- identification of the protected work and of the ownership;
- the address (URL) or the device code related to the source;
- a good-faith statement that the use was not authorized;
- a statement that the information is true;
- a physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a complete notice, Play+ may remove the playlist from the device management page, suspend the license involved and preserve the available technical records, cooperating with the authorities when there is a court order.
The affected user may submit a counter-notice through the same channels, explaining why they have rights to the content. Play+ will review the case and may restore access.
8. Repeat infringement
Devices that accumulate valid notices may have their license permanently canceled, without refund, and be barred from new activation.
9. Software license
Play+ grants the user a personal, limited, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on the activated device for the contracted term. The code, brand, look and documentation of Play+ belong to Play+; nothing in these Terms transfers those rights.
10. Suspension
The license may be suspended or canceled in the event of a violation of these Terms, payment fraud, a court order or a risk to the security of the service. Whenever possible and permitted by law, the user will be notified.
11. Availability
Play+ is provided “as is”. We work to keep it stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Playback quality and availability depend on the user's playlist, internet connection and device — factors beyond our control.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Play+ is not liable for: the content of the sources added by the user; failures, outages or changes in those sources' servers; data loss caused by third parties; indirect damages or loss of profits. Where liability exists, it is limited to the amount paid for the license in the last 12 months.
13. Device key
Each device has a code and a 6-digit key, shown in the app itself. The key protects the management page: only someone with the device can see and change its playlists. Do not share the key.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code, the Internet Civil Framework (Marco Civil da Internet — Law No. 12,965/2014) and the LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018). The courts of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
15. Changes
These Terms may be updated. The version in force is always on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after an update means accepting the new version.
